A technology consulting services firm relocated from its Wyomissing office to the Allentown area with plans to double the size of its staff.
RSC Solutions, based in Rockleigh, N.J., has about 30 employees at its new Upper Macungie Township site at 7450 Tilghman St. and will grow to about 60 employees in the next six to 12 months, said Mark Arzoomanian, chairman and CEO of RSC Solutions.
The firm closed its Wyomissing office and moved into the new space a few weeks ago.
“We just wanted to be a little closer proximity to New York and some of the big hubs and colleges,” Arzoomanian said.
The Wyomissing office was at One Meridian Blvd., Suite 2B03.
The firm’s new office is a rural onshore technology services office, Arzoomanian said.
“We are the alternative option to keeping your business in the U.S. so you have more control over your prospects and more access to your delivery teams,” Arzoomanian said.
SAGE Design-Build Inc. of Upper Macungie Township completed the fit-out construction for the office, said Joe Landrigan, president of SAGE.
SAGE served as the general contractor for the roughly 10,000-square-foot-project, which has a glass wall interior to bring in a lot of natural light as well as energy efficiencies, Landrigan said.
Nelson, a global firm with an office in Philadelphia, is the architect for the project.
