Delta Storage engaged SAGE for a third time to serve as Owner’s Representative on a 75,000-square-foot, three-story self-storage facility in Brooklyn. The project features full conditioning, LED lighting with sensors, demand-controlled ventilation, and enhanced envelope insulation. Early involvement in space planning and preconstruction ensured efficient design, a cost-effective layout, and a smooth approvals and construction process.
A 75,000sf three story self storage facility in the heart of Brooklyn, this was the third project that Delta storage brought SAGE in on as an Owner’s Representative building a fully conditioned multi-story self-storage facility with energy efficient LED lighting with occupancy sensors, demand controlled ventilation, and upgraded envelope insulation for a superior level of insulation. Because this was our third project with them, we were included in all initial space planning and preconstruction meetings to achieve the most efficient and cost effective layout providing a multitude of storage unit sizes and configurations as well as most timely schedule. Working with the owner’s design and construction teams throughout the designs, approvals, and construction process allows for a seamless process from start to finish, even from afar.
"On a job such as this, it’s not uncommon to have 200 architectural drawings to review. Joe (Landrigan) has the knowledge to review them and come back with recommendations quickly and he knows what has to be done, and comes prepared with costs and next steps. When you have a project as large as this one, you need guidance and input. Joe stepped in when I needed that. And he always brought the right resources to the table."
