SAGE completed a complex renovation of The Quaker School at Horsham, a K-8 independent learning school for students with learning differences, during the pandemic and while the building was occupied. By coordinating materials in advance and carefully addressing noise and light sensitivities, our team renovated the main offices, lobby, atrium, classrooms, small group spaces, and library within a tight timeframe.

The Quaker School at Horsham is a K-8 independent learning school that helps students with learning disabilities or those who struggle in a mainstream school. Not only did SAGE complete this renovation during the school year, while the building was occupied, but our team worked in an active educational setting with children who were noise and light sensitive. Because of these complex challenges, SAGE’s top priority was to set the tone with all subcontractors as to how to act appropriately within the environment. SAGE renovated the Main Offices, Lobby, Atrium, Two Classrooms, Two Small Group Spaces, as well as the Library. We were able to achieve this within an extremely tight timeframe, during the pandemic. Because of pandemic related back-orders, SAGE made sure all material was on hand before construction began over their winter break, and had completed construction by the end of the school’s spring break.

"We love what we do—every day. We bring expertise to the table. We love to learn and discover opportunities together, and we find the best possible solutions.” At first glance, you may think this philosophy was pulled straight from the pages of the TQS website, as it aligns so closely with our own approach. In actuality, it's what Joe from SAGE and his team is all about. We could not be more excited about this partnership."
